So for my birth it was a bit different . My water broke early morning with out no contractions, I was induced and in labour for 24hrs and then pushed for an hour. The first 10 hours I felt nothing then in the middle of the night the contractions hit me and I had to get an epideral. That was probably the best for me because I felt no pain until I was at 8cm dilated and almost ready then all I could feel was the feeling of having to take a shit but it won’t come out. Eventually the nurse told me to start pushing and from there it felt like I was pushing for my life to go to the bathroom but it just wouldn’t come out then after an hour of pushing and almost feeling like passing out my beautiful baby girl was born at 6’2lbs and 19 cm! I ripped a tinny bit near my clitoris and so peeing for the first week was not to pleasant but after a couple weeks it healed and everything felt normal again.

Tips for going into birth:

So I’d say try to be as calm as possible cause if you panic then your more likely to get a cesarean section due to the stress you are adding on your body and baby.  Another tip for when your pretty much ready to push don’t give up on natural birth! I was so close to saying fuck natural birth just cut me open and get her out but my doctors persuaded me out of it and I’m so happy they did because I healed so much faster! If you decide to get an epideral try and go for the lowest dose so you  don’t cause baby to go in shock !
